UL Symphony String Day Concert

UL SYMPHONY presents Respighi: THE PINES OF ROME


The UL Lafayette Symphony will present Ottorino Respighi's The Pines of Rome on Saturday, March 3 at 7:30 PM in Angelle Hall Auditorium. The orchestra will be joined by UL Brass Faculty to present this ever popular orchestra masterpiece.  Other highlights include Shostakovich Festive Overture and the Brahms Double Concerto featuring UL String Faculty Michael Blaney, violin and Molly Goforth, cello. The concert will conclude with over 140 pre-college string players from throughout Louisiana joining forces with the UL Symphony to present several string pieces.  For more information about this FREE concert please call the UL School of Music at (337) 482-6012.
